3G-less Google Phone? Looks like the big guys at Google are anxious to get their phone out in the open market. The consequences of their action might leave the Google Phone (GPhone) without 3G. If thats the case, the Texas Instruments 2.5 EDGE would be their high speed chip of choice. If the GPhone did include 3G, we wouldn’t see it in the market until sometime in Q2 of 2008, and if you recall, the iPhone will have 3G and GPS sometime in the first quarter of 2008.
